💰 How does Nikita Bier build (and sell) apps?

Nikita Bier is one of the more intriguing figures in this business.

He created the TBH app and sold it to Facebook in 2017. At that time, it had 2.5 million daily active users.

The app was used for teenagers to anonymously give each other compliments. A few years later, Nikita built GAS - an app with identical functionality(!), which was used by one in three teenagers in the USA. GAS was ultimately acquired by Discord for a significant sum(!). What's best about all of this is that GAS was created by a team of four.

When creating viral apps, Nikita used the same pattern.

"Never launch to the market. Plant the idea in a small group, see if it works, and then develop it." - [Nikita Bier](https://twitter.com/nikitabier/status/1672764498858373122?)

Instead of organizing big launches, Nikita tested different versions of his apps with small initial groups. His team set up booths near schools and offered rewards to students who downloaded and tested the app.
